This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
This colorful shot captures a pleasant autumn day at Pasadena Maryland's John Downs Memorial Park over a decade ago (November 2009) as seen from the observation pavilion at the park's east end. The beach treeline fronting the point where the Magothy and Patapsco Rivers join to flow into the Chesapeake Bay was brightly colored with hardwoods in all their glory. In the distance the fishing pier, constructed in 2005, juts into the bay waters giving local fishermen a great place to drop a line and maybe catch some dinner.

About Daniel Beard
I started seriously shooting post-retirement along Maryland's Chesapeake Bay in 2006 and Marci wasn't far behind once she also retired. We have since relocated to Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. The majority of our photographs are of nature, and while we dabble in other subjects and occasionally in computer art, nature is our wheelhouse. I hope that you, the viewer, enjoy our images as much as we have enjoyed capturing them. All images in our gallery are Copyright Daniel V. Beard and Marjorie A. Beard 2020-2023, All Rights Reserved
