This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks
Artist's Description
Continuing to expand upon my new portfolio of abandoned and decay structures, I found this old barn from yesteryear in one of my scouting journeys in my hometown of Chester, NY.

There are so many more of these abandoned structures near by that I am looking forward to documenting in my expanded horizons journey.
Tech Notes for those who care about such things: Used my go-to lens; Nikon 24-120mm lens and got in tight to produced this upper looking point-of-view.
I chose to process the final step (after processing the original color) into a vintage black and white capture and utilized the vignetting and grain filters in Adobe Camera Raw as a homage to black and white film photography.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
